Fast paced, behind the scenes, and highly innovative, the Creatives and Marketing team is responsible for building Rocket Station’s identity and voice while cascading it effectively to the world and providing creative support to other Rocketeers. This team is filled with quick-witted, artistically gifted, and self-directed individuals with adept skills in their related field whether it be in video editing, copywriting, graphic design, web development or social media strategy.

MARKETING SPECIALIST

MARKETING SPECIALIST

CREATIVES & MARKETING

KEY ROLE

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing effective marketing strategies, assisting with campaign development, analyzing the effectiveness of each campaign and developing our lead generation programs. The successful candidate will play an integral role in building and engaging the company’s customer base, and creating effective strategies that will promote the long-term growth of the Rocket Station community.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, implement, and track marketing programs such as email, social media, or digital campaigns, and events

Collaborate with other internal teams to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives

Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns

Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities

Develop and create marketing materials, such as sales and product collateral, and ensure brand guidelines are met

Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums

Work with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field

2-5 years of experience in marketing

Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools such as Marketo, Google Analytics, CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), and content management systems

Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data analysis

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail

Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills

Ability to travel as necessary

VIDEO EDITOR

KEY ROLE

The Video Editor creates visual concepts, by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers. This role also involves creation of videos both animation and filmed footage for multiple online marketing channels and various purposes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for capturing, editing, and producing studio quality photos and videos for internal and external purposes.

Collaborate with team members and other departments involved in creating storyboards from pre-production to post production process.

Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film to ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of video materials.

Input music effects, dialogues, graphics to videos when needed to produce compelling and engaging visual content

Create and follow company brand guidelines, design concepts and marketing strategy

Develop and conceptualize video brand messaging strategies.

Manage media assets and archive all company media projects.

Discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s practice to maximize efficiency of produced materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proven graphic designing, filming and video editing experience.

Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual, visual ability and originality

Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.

Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas.

Strong understanding of post production workflow

Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Cloud suite programs – Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Illustrator etc).

Highly proficient in all design aspects.

COPYWRITER

KEY ROLE

The Copywriter is responsible for creating compelling blog posts, white papers, product descriptions, social media content and web copy. You will help us expand our digital footprint and drive more value through online content. One must have a proven track record of producing pieces that increase engagement and drive leads.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Write and develop a range of content in multiple formats to enhance the company’s presence and positioning in the market. This includes marketing brochures, emails, infographics, event collaterals, editorial articles and social media posts.

Understand target audiences across different groups to translate copy and design into compelling and relevant creatives.

Use SEO best practices to generate traffic to our site.

Edit content produced by other members of the team

Analyze content marketing metrics and make changes as needed.

Collaborate with other departments to create innovative content ideas.

Produce one weekly blog post for the company’s marketing website; while enabling thought leadership across all our content.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing and web analytics.

Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism or a related field is a plus

The ability to consistently meet tight deadlines.

Experience in writing for an audience is a plus.

Experience using WordPress and all other related platforms preferred.

Passion for technology, hardware/software products, digital products, and constantly learning at a fast pace.

Amenable to work at night and extended hours.

KEY ROLE

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing Rocket Station’s marketing campaigns and strategy over social media platforms to promote the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Create high quality content, including text posts, video, and images for use on social media to promote products, services, and post in all social media platforms in a way that is consistent with the Rocket Station Style Guide

Schedule social media posts using applications such as Hootsuite and TweetDeck to maintain all Rocket Station social media accounts.

Interact and engage external constituents through social media channels

Develop new social media strategies and campaigns to increase visibility on all social media platforms.

Keep track of data and analyze the performance of social media campaigns

Create social media reports for weekly business reviews.
