Fast paced, behind the scenes, and highly innovative, the Creatives and Marketing team is responsible for building Rocket Station’s identity and voice while cascading it effectively to the world and providing creative support to other Rocketeers. This team is filled with quick-witted, artistically gifted, and self-directed individuals with adept skills in their related field whether it be in video editing, copywriting, graphic design, web development or social media strategy.

COPYWRITER (US FACING)

COPYWRITER (US FACING)

CREATIVES & MARKETING

KEY ROLE

The Copywriter is responsible for creating compelling and engaging content, including blog posts for the Rocket Station website, social media, blog entries, brand pages, product pages, and other channels associated with RS. S/he aims to add value by actively engaging customers/stakeholders and maintaining a cohesive brand voice.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Main Responsibilities in RS: Social Media Copies, Company Announcements, Email Copies, Creatives Request

Write original copy and edit content for a range of corporate marketing and communications materials

Ensure content is innovative, on-brand, and consistent with the project’s communication strategy

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and creative teams from concept development to delivery of a final product

Research and understand the company’s branding needs with target audiences

Prepare content for posting across other different platforms and ensure everything in the content follow platform guidelines respectively

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communication or marketing

Experience producing copy for print and digital media channels

Exceptional skill in social media writing, including the use of hashtags, keywords, and relevant acronyms

Proficiency with common office software (Word, Excel/Spreadsheets, and others)

Experience with SEO concepts and social media marketing

Creativity, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team

VIDEO SPECIALIST (WITH ANIMATING SKILLS)

Video Specialist (with Animating Skills)

CREATIVES & MARKETING

KEY ROLE

The Animator will perform a number of different tasks, with the end goal of creating visual works that can be displayed through different media sources, including film, websites, and social media. This role requires storyboarding, drawing using physical and digital tools, creating frames for animation, and pulling frames together into moving pictures. Animators must be able to work collaboratively as well as independently and often on tight deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create custom graphic and video outputs for online and offline production and other requested video work.
  • Responsible for reviewing, assembling, and editing of raw contents and producing the final content according to the outline, branding, and style of the company and the client.
  • Input sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and writing voice-overs.
  • Ensure logical sequencing, smooth running, and correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to stakeholder’s specifications and requirements;
  • Execute all tasks assigned by the team leader or those of higher authority diligently, on schedule, and to the highest standard
  • Edit videos for marketing and social assets to bring the brand story to life and maintain the brand tonality and look.
  • Continuously brainstorm, discover, conceptualize and implement ideas for the improvement of RS video materials;
  • Create high-quality animations by utilizing both hand key animation and motion capture data
  • Collaborating with the client and production team members to understand needs, review scripts, design storyboards, and create and edit animations.
  • Using creativity and artistic techniques to tell a story or provide information in visual form.
  • Developing storyboards for the initial stages of production

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have 2-3 years of video production experience.
  • Possession of a strong video editing portfolio.
  • Skilled in using the Adobe Creative Cloud to create engaging content.
  • A degree in Multimedia arts and related fields is an advantage.
  • Expert level  in motion graphics. 
  • Has an eye for quality and thought-provoking content.
  • Practices excellent communication abilities.
  • Excellent in handling pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Must be creative, quick to adapt, and be good at conceptualization.

SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT SPECIALIST

Social Media Content Specialist

KEY ROLE

The Social Media Content Specialist is responsible for the development of activity on core social media channels with the aim of driving engagement, building an audience, increasing web traffic, and ultimately driving website registrations. This person will report to the Social Media Lead to plan out content and topics based on market/industry research, 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibilities in Rocket Station: Social Media Calendar Creation, Research, and Content Creation


The responsibility of the Social Media Content Specialist includes developing a social media content calendar, managing the monthly content plan, creating and posting new content, connecting with the community, and analyzing the success and performance of your social media marketing campaigns.

  • Research and development of relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers.
  • Work alongside upper management to research relevant content pieces based on company focus/marketing initiatives.
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written, and audio/podcast).
  • Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools such as Facebook studio and Hootsuite.
  • Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content (for all channels and ads)
  • Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
  • Identify and repurpose and post, or re-post high engagement on LI and Facebook
  • Work closely with copywriters and designers to ensure the content matches the social media strategy 

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Setting up social ad campaigns on different social platforms
  • Social Media Management Tools (Hootsuite, FB Creator Studio, etc)
  • Web/Social Analytics (Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc
  • Content curation and Copywriting
  • Content Planning Reporting/Analytics
  • Intermediate knowledge of  MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-3 years of work experience as a social media specialist/manager
  • Hands-on experience in content management
  • Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics is a plus
  • Has exceptional business writing skills with the ability to visualize,  and convey a message into relevant and engaging content.
  • Expert level skills in using and navigating social media apps, 3rd party social media tools, and social media analytic tools
  • Effective research skills.
